There are some pretty neat projects that can be done with mason jars. The best part is that they don’t have to be brand new. They can even come from the thrift store. Check out these projects I found that are fun, easy and inexpensive.
Project #1 – Tissue Holders
It’s amazing what you can do with mason jars. I know tissue holders sound boring, but you’ll wonder how you did without one once you have it.
Project #2 – Herb Gardens
These are neat for creating an all-seasons herb garden.
Project #3 – Window Treatments
These are great for giving your windows a new look without spending a lot of money.
Project #4 – Candy Jar Holders
Mason jars make great candy holders.
Project #5 – Drink Holders
This is geared more towards the adults but you can use mason jars to hold drinks as well. So versatile!
Project #6 – Flower Pots
Ok so this one is a little basic but if you jazz it up with some paint and maybe a few stick on jewels, you can really have a snazzy jar for your flowers. A lot of people use them for frugal center pieces for their weddings.
Project #7 – Soil Testers
This projects are great for those who love gardening. When you test your soil in the mason jars, it will let you see if there needs to be any adjustments made. So much cheaper then the store bought ones.
Project #8 – Cookie Jar Recipes
I absolutely adore these! If you don’t know what to get someone (birthdays, Christmas, etc), these are fantastic. It shows you put thought and effort into the gift. Plus, you can dress it up a bit with ribbon or stickers or whatever you like to put on them. Easy peasy!
Project #9 – Luminaries
These are so pretty if you use them as luminaries in your backyard. They give off a romantic light, perfect for a quiet date night at home!
